Abstract

Archeological Assessment of a Terrell County Road Safety Project. This project proposes to install new lane striping, pavement markings, raised pavement markers and warning signs at 12 locations within Terrell County (see list below). All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Total project length of the 12 locations is approximately 58 miles.

1. CR 120 - beginning at the Dougherty County Line and ending at SR 520 – project length is 6.2 miles

2. CR 166 - beginning at CR 155 and ending at CR 165 - project length is 6.4 miles

3. CR 1 - beginning at CR 3 and ending at SR 520- project length is 8.0 miles

4. CR 11 - beginning at SR 45 and ending at SR 55 - project length is 3.7 miles

5. CR 136 - beginning at SR 520 and ending at SR 32 - project length is 3.2 miles

6. CR 107 - beginning at CR 166 and ending at SR 32 - project length is 3.4 miles

7. CR 77 - beginning at the Bronwood City Limits and ending at SR 49 – project length is 3.6 miles

8. CR 156 - beginning at the Bronwood City Limits and ending at SR 49 – project length is 4.1 miles

9. CR 160 - beginning at SR 520 and ending at SR 49 - project length is 5.4 miles

10. CR 178 - beginning at CR 157 and ending at SR 45 - project length is 5.9 miles

11. CR 84 - beginning at SR 32 and ending at CR 166 - project length is 3.0 miles

12. CR 157 - beginning at SR 45 and ending at the Bronwood City Limits – project length is 4.0 miles
