Archeological Assessment of a Fulton/DeKalb/Gwinnett County Ramp Meter Project. This proposed project consists of installing ramp meters, VDS cameras and CCTV cameras along I-85 from Buford Highway to Pleasant Hill Road. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way, no new right-of-way is required. The proposed project would include ramp meters, which would include the installation of VDS cameras and CCTV cameras along 1-85 from Buford Highway to Pleasant Hill Road. The CCTV cameras would allow for improved monitoring of the interchanges and operation of the ramp meters at the Transportation Management Center (TMC). This project would use the existing fiber optic trunk line along I-85.
