The proposed work will take place along a 3.92 mile section of State Route (SR) 138 in Clayton and Henry Counties from north of Bam by Lane to the on and off ramps of Interstate (I-) 75 (Figure 1). The proposed work consists of milling, patching, resurfacing, striping, raised pavement markers, and curb cuts to install wheel chair ramps. The project will take place within existing Right-of-Way (ROW), which varies throughout. The limits of construction will be 5 feet from the edge of pavement. Work on all bridges with concrete decks will be limited to restriping only.
