This proposed project would improve SR 216 beginning at the intersection of Morgan Road/CS 056001 in the City of Arlington (MP 0.50) and ending approximately 900 feet north of Shepard Road/ CR 44 near the City of Edison (MP 8.24). This project would construct and pave 2-feet of the existing shoulders, left and right to be followed by resurfacing. Earth shoulders are to be reconstructed from a maximum distance of 4-feet from the edge of new pavement for the purpose of providing a smooth grade transition. Existing typical section consist of two 12-foot travel lanes on 1 00 feet of existing right-of-way. No additional right-of-way would be required. Total length of this project would be approximately 7.61 miles.
