Archeological Assessment of a Bartow/Gordon County Bridge Deck Project. This project proposes to perform maintenance to five GDOT bridges on I-75 located in Bartow and Gordon Counties, Georgia. Two of the five bridges will receive hydrodemolition of the top surface of the concrete, followed by new concrete overlay. The three remaining bridges will receive the following maintenance: full-depth bridge deck replacement between beams three and seven; hydrodemolition of the remaining sections followed by new concrete overlay; and concrete diaphragm replacement between beams three and seven. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way, no new right-of-way will be required. Total project length of the five bridges is approximately 1,214 feet.
