Phase I Archaeological Survey of the Proposed Oglesby Bridge Road Intersection Improvement at SR 212, Rockdale County Georgia

Abstract

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed Oglesby Bridge Road intersection improvement at SR 212 in Rockdale county from April 26th to 28th, 2000. The project encompasses a small area that consists of two turn lane additions to Oglesby Bridge Road, with total project length for Oglesby Road of 200 +/- feet. Additionally, intersection improvements totaling 250 feet at each corner of the intersection were surveyed. No archaeological resources were discovered during the survey, and therefore no further work is necessary.
