The proposed WRDW communications compound is located at 2801 Riverwatch Parkway in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia (Martinez, Georgia/South Carolina 7 .5-minute USGS Quadrangle) (Figure 1; see Attachment No. l for project figures). The proposed undertaking includes construction of a 39.6-meter (m) (130-foot) self-supported telecommunications tower, an equipment shed and an array of 12 4.5-m satellite dishes located within an irregular fenced compound covering 0.14 hectare (14,909 square feet). Access to the compound will be gained from the larger WRDW facility (Figure 2). Hereafter, the above-referenced compound is referred to as the "project area".
