Abstract

The proposed project consists of replacement of the existing SR 37 bridge over Ochlockonee Creek (Structure ID 071-0018-0). The new bridge will include two 12-foot lanes and sidewalks for pedestrians. The roadway typical section consists of two 12-foot lanes with 16-foot border area including curb and gutter and five-foot sidewalk. The bridge will be replaced at the same location as the existing structure. Traffic will be shifted to a temporary detour bridge to the north of the existing alignment. Once the new bridge is constructed and traffic is shifted to the newly constructed bridge, the detour bridge will be removed. The total project length is 0.3 mile. Proposed right-of-way (ROW) would be a minimum of approximately 80 feet.
