Abstract

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project PR-114(301) in Warren County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the proposed project's area of potential environmental effect. Proposed project PR- 114(301) in Warren County proposes to grade, drain, base and surface County Road 114 (Ranger Road) in Warren County. The existing typical section consists of a variable width dirt surfaced roadway with variable width or no shoulders. The proposed typical section would consist of two 12-foot travel lanes with 5-foot rural shoulders on 80 feet of required right-of-way. The proposed project would begin at the intersection of County Road 112 (Ricketson Road) and proceed in a northerly direction to end at County Road 164 (Old Warrenton Road). The total length of this project is 2.171 miles.
