This is a bridge project, FR-159-1(21), located in Carroll County. The bridge is on SR 16/US 27 and the existing structure is a two-lane rural overpass. The proposed project would relocate the Central of GA Railroad over pass over SR 16/US 27 to approximately 75 feet south of the present railroad overpass location. Relocating the intersection of CR 52 and SR 16 to approximately 150 feet north of the present location requires a right-of-way of 100 feet. The purpose of this project is to provide increased vertical and horizontal clearance at this underpass and to improve safety for the motoring public.
