Abstract

The proposed project on SR 27 would begin approximately 185 feet east of the divided median that is 0.36 mile east of CR 180 (Dr Turfier Road-MP 8.885) then continue southeasterly to an end point at the Jeff Davis/ Appling County line (MP 11.419). All work will be restricted to within the SR 27 existing right-of-way; no required right-of-way or easements will be needed for project implementation.

Pursuant to the September 2007 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
