Abstract

The proposed work will take place along a 2.107-mile section of State Route (SR) 27 EA (Lamar Street) and a 2.062 mile section of SR 27 WE (Forsyth Street) from SR 3/US 19 to the intersection of SR 30 in Americus, Sumter County Georgia (Figure l). The proposed work consists of milling, patching, resurfacing, striping, raised pavement markers, and curb cuts to install wheel chair ramps. The project will take place within existing Right-of-Way (ROW), which varies throughout. The limits of construction will be 5 feet from the edge of pavement. Work on all bridges with concrete decks will be limited to restriping only.
