The proposed project consists of the transfer of two surplus property parcels currently owned by GDOT. An interested member of the public has contacted GDOT’s Right-Of-Way office requesting to purchase these two surplus land parcels from GDOT. The parcels are identified as GEP 169-008 and GEP 169-009, and are located adjacent to one another, just north of Gray, in Jones County, Georgia. They are situated in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of State Route (SR) 11/Monticello Highway and Gray Bypass (Figure 1). GEP-169-008 is 1.68 acres and GEP-169-009 is 1.91 acres for a combined area of 3.59 acres.
