This is a bridge project, BRS-0577(17), located in Bulloch County. The bridge is on State Route 46 and crosses Luke Swamp Branch. The existing bridge is a 27.4-meter-long by 7.9-meter-wide bridge structure with timber pilings, concrete caps, concrete deck, and steel handrails. The existing right-of-way is 61.0 meters. The proposed project will replace the bridge over Luke Swamp Branch with a 27.4-meter-long by 12.2-meter-wide concrete bridge structure on the existing alignment. An on-site runaround on the downstream side of the existing bridge would be provided to handle traffic during construction.
