The proposed project consists of the transfer of surplus property in Gwinnett County owned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). The surplus property will be placed on the market by GDOT’s Right-of-Way Office. The parcel is identified as PM 2816 = GEP-135-1423, and is located at on the south side of University Parkway/State Route (SR) 316 west of its intersection with Collins Hill Road within the City of Lawrenceville, Georgia (see Figures 1 and 2). It is approximately 7.07 acres (2.86 ha) and was acquired in 2010 for GDOT project MSL-0004-00(86), PI 0004086. The subject property was formerly an automobile dealership that was abandoned prior to GDOT’s acquisition.
