In August 2018, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEi) conducted archaeological field investigations for the Georgia College & State University Trail Extension project in Baldwin County, Georgia. Georgia College & State University (GC&SU) is planning to construct a pedestrian trail. The proposed project area is in the vicinity of Campus West along SR441 to Fishing Creek. The purpose of the survey was to identify sensitive archaeological resources in the project area and to assess any impact the project may have on those resources. The cultural resources survey described in this letter report was conducted as a due diligence effort in anticipation of future regulatory requirements.
