GDOT project NH-IM-95-1(154) in Glynn County consists of bridge widenings on 4 major bridges over South Brunswick River, SR 303/Hillary Slough, Turtle River and Gibson Creek.
These 4 bridges are located within project NH-IM-95-1(118) but were split into a new project for separate design work.
According to Jim Simpson (project manager) a11 work for these bridges would be completed within existing right-of-way. These bridges were surveyed and cleared for archaeology as part of project NH-IM-95-1(118) in April of 2001. No archaeological resources were found. As long as no additional easements or right-of-way are required, unit 154 is cleared for archaeology under the original write off letter for unit 118.
