The proposed project would consist of the replacement of the two-lane bridge over the Chattahoochee River crossing Lake Lanier with a new two-lane bridge east of the existing bridge. A new two-lane approach roadway with rural shoulders would connect both sides of the proposed bridge with the existing road which also has rural shoulders. The roadway would by designed and constructed to accommodate future widening of the existing road to a four-lane facility to be constructed in P.I. #122060.
