A recent intensive archaeological survey of Georgia Department of Transportation Project APD-056-2(4), the Blue Ridge By-Pass, led to the discovery and evaluation of 12 archaeological sites, none of which are eligible for National Register of Historic Places determination. However, holistically the data should provide general subsistent/settlement pattern information and specifically lithic procurement and work-shop information for this section of North Georgia.
