The proposed project entails the discovery and preliminary evaluation of historic and prehistoric sites within a 45-acre portion of the Millen National Fish Hatchery, located in Jenkins County, Georgia. This facility is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The archaeological and historical investigations are being administered by Interagency Archeological Services - Atlanta, Heritage Conservation and Recreation Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.
