Archeological Assessment of an Oconee County Resurfacing Project. This project consists of the milling, overlay, 2' shoulder paving, and permanent marking of SR 53 beginning from M.P. 0.00 and ending at M.P. 13.44. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Total project length is approximately 13.44 miles. The proposed maintenance project for CSSTP-M003-00(436) in Oconee County would include the milling and overlay with permanent markings of S.R. 53 from the Barrow county line to S.R. 15 (MP 0.00 to MP 13.44). This project would also include the construction of 2-ft paved shoulders and building of 2-ft rural shoulders. All work would be completed within existing right-of-way. This project is twinned with CSSTP-M003-00(437) in Barrow County.
