The proposed project would replace the existing 009-5001-0 on City Street (CS) 685/Barrows Ferry Road over Tobler Creek, northeast of Milledgeville, Baldwin County, Georgia. The bridge was constructed in 1960 and has an existing bridge typical section consisting of two 10-foot travel lanes, one in each direction, with 4-foot paved shoulders. The proposed project would close the existing CS 685 bridge over Tobler Creek and replace it with a new bridge while traffic is routed through an off-site detour. The proposed bridge would consist of two 12-foot travel determined. The existing ROW is approximately 30 feet on each side of the centerline. The total project length is approximately 3,570 feet (.68 miles).
