Abstract

Viasat, Inc. (Viasat) proposes to construct, operate, and maintain a new satellite earth station (satellite) not to exceed 20 feet (ft) in height, located in Cherokee County, Georgia (Project). The Project is in the south-central portion of Cherokee County approximately 761 meters (m) (2,498 ft) east of the I-575 and Sixes Road interchange and 40 m (127 ft) east of the Marietta & North Georgia Railroad in the community of Lebanon (Latitude/Longitude [NAD83]: 34.144367, -84.508314). Proposed plans include the construction of an approximately 12-m-long by 7-m-wide access road beginning at Palm Street and leading east to the pad location. The proposed pad, including workspace, measures 7.5-m by 8.0-m. The total Project area measures approximately 0.04 acre (ac) (0.014 hectare [ha]).
