Environmental Corporation of America (ECA) has completed an Archaeological Assessment for the federal undertaking at the subject site. The proposed undertaking would include a l 0-foot by I 0-foot (3-meter by 3-meter) area that would include a 46-foot overall height overall height pole structure. The proposed facility would be located at 9000 Avalon Boulevard, Alpharetta, Fulton County, Georgia.

This archaeological assessment was conducted in order to ascertain whether the proposed undertaking might directly or indirectly affect cultural resources, if any such resources exist. During our database research, we found six recorded archaeological sites (9FU232, 9FU233, 9FU665, 9FU697, 9FU698, and 9FU743) and nine archaeological survey reports (1036, 1772, 1925, 3935, 5754, 8656, 9222, 12583, and 12717) within I-mile of the subject site, but outside the APE for direct effects. During the course of the Phase I intensive field survey portion of this archaeological assessment. no archaeological cultural resources were encountered, and no archaeological sites were discovered.

ECA believes that the proposed undertaking would have no effect on any historic or prehistoric archaeological resources that are listed in or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Based on our findings related to archaeological resources, we recommend no further consultation under Section 106 Review of the National Historic Preservation Act for this proposed undertaking.
