Abstract

The proposed project would consist of the installation of railroad warning devices and widening of the two-lane CR 375/Wash Johnson Road from the current 16 feet (ft)(4.9 meters [m]) to between 18–22 ft (5.5–6.1 m), from United States (US) 29/State Route (SR) 14 to just south of the CSX Railroad crossing ID #050421X in Coweta County. The proposed project would also include asphalt overlay, installation of advance warning signs, and pavement marking on the existing CR 375/Wash Johnson Road roadway approaches to the crossing. All work would be performed within the existing CSX Railroad and roadway right-of-way (ROW).
