Abstract

The Archeological Survey of Cobb-Fulton Counties (ASCFC) received a work order and notice-to-proceed on the proposed Long Island Force Main construction right-of-way on September 5, 1978, from the Fulton County Department of Public Works. This project is proposed so as to traverse a portion of the Palisades State Park, soon to be incorporated into the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, to be administered by the National Park Service.
