Abstract

At the request of the Site Planning Section, Office of Planning and Research, Georgia Department of Natural resources, the staff archaeologist of D.N.R. The proposed site is located on federally owned property leased to the State of Georgia at George T. Bagby State Park in Clay County. This is a report of the survey conducted to meet the requirements of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District.

On 6 February 1978, the location of the proposed shelter site was shown to staff archaeologist John R. Morgan by site planner Jake Ingram.
