Abstract

An archaeological survey of approximately 143 acres of land and a 50 foot x 3 mile long right of way in northern Carroll County was conducted in August of 1982. Six archaeological sites were recognized during the course of this work. All of these sites are representative of upland Piedmont Lithic scatters and are not considered to be eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
