Cultural Resource Survey of Lake Allatoona

All work proposed is included within the project limits of Allatoona Lake in Cobb, Bartow, and Cherokee Counties, Georgia. The Allatoona Dam is located at river mile 47.8 on the Etowah River above its confluence with the Oostanaula River at Rome, Georgia. At the maximum power pool of 840 feet amsl, the lake covers 11,860 acres and has a shoreline of 270 miles. Total acreage in the project is 38,250 acres.
