Abstract

An archaeological survey of an approximately 225 acre area of Houston County, Georgia was conducted to determine if any archaeological sites were present that would be eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places. This survey detected the presence of two archaeological sites WGC 1573, a small lithic site, and WGC 1574, an apparently transported historic site. Both are considered not to meet the National Register criteria of eligibility.
