Abstract

Cultural resources inventories have been completed for portionsof the Tallulah Ranger District, Chattahoochee National Forest prior to Forest Service activities during the second half of FY92 and the first half of FY93. This report covers surveys on 18 compartments and 1452 acres in Rabun County, Georgia. Surveys have been completed for timber sales, wildlife openings, and miscellaneous recreation projects. A total of 16 sites are reported here which includes eight historic sites, five prehistoric sites, two rockpiles and one quartz quarry.
