Abstract

On March 13, New South Associates conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey of the proposed intersection improvement at Rays Road and East Ponce de Leon Avenue, DeKalb County, Georgia. The project consisted of approximately 0.44 mile of widening along East Ponce de Leon Avenue. The survey corridor begins approximately 100 feet east of Idlewood road and ends at Sagewood Circle, east of Rays Road. The survey did not locate any archaeological sites and no further study of the area is recommended.
