A Cultural Resources Survey of the Friendship Church Road Bridge Replacement, Cobb County, Georgia

Abstract

This report summarizes an archeological survey that was conducted at the Friendship Church Road bridge on a small tributary of Mud Creek in western Cobb County (Figure 1). If built as planned, the existing bridge will be replaced by a concrete box culvert, The survey was required in order for Cobb County to be in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (as amended). No archeological sites were found.
