Abstract

On June 24, 1998, New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the approximately 488 meters (1,600 feet) of Northbound Ramp at Interstate 75 and Barrett Parkway in Cobb County, Georgia. Shovel test pits were excavated on both sides of the existing ramp at 30 meter (98 feet) intervals. Soils were very disturbed from previous construction activities and no archaeological resources were located. No further study of the project area is recommended.
