Abstract

In late February of 2001 five intersections in Chatham County, Georgia were archeologically surveyed by Southeastern Archeological Service, Inc. (SAS). The survey was undertaken to ensure that the Georgia Department of Transportation is in compliance with Federal regulations concerning the disposition and protection of significant cultural resource (National Historic Preservation Act of 1966--as amended). No archeological sites were discovered, and no further archeological studies are needed at these intersections.
