Abstract

A cultural resources survey of the bridge crossing of Spence Mill Creek on SR 93 in Mitchell County, Georgia, was conducted by New South Associates February 28, and March 1, 2001. A 1,000 foot approach with a 200 foot wide right-of-way was studied on either side of the bridge. Two archaeological sites were recorded. These archaeological sites, 9M1129 and 9M1128, were recommended as not eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
