Abstract

On March 28, 2002 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS), conducted an archeological survey of a highway intersection in Columbia County, Georgia. The survey was undertaken to ensure that the Georgia Department of Transportation is in compliance with federal regulations concerning the disposition and protection of significant cultural resources (National Historic Preservation Act of 1966--as amended). No archeological sites were discovered, and no further archeological studies are needed at the intersection.
