Abstract

In August, 1992, New South Associates conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of the Eastside Drive Extension project for Moreland Altobelli Associates, Inc. The project consists of an approximately 4,500 foot extension of the Eastside Drive from Haynes Bridge Road to Kimball Bridge Road to be constructed on new alignment. A check of the Georgia state site files failed to locate any sites in the proposed right-of-way, but did identify 8 sites within the project vicinity. None of these recorded sites were determined eligible for the National Register. The present project discovered one new site which is not judged eligible for inclusion to the National Register.
