The survey described here was designed to locate and evaluate archeological sites in the area of a bridge replacement project proposed by the Georgia Department of Transportation. The project is located at the crossing of County Road 837 over Big Indian Creek in west-central Carroll County. No archeological resources were recorded on the survey. We therefore recommend the project will have no adverse effect upon significant archeological resources.
