Abstract

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of two proposed bridge replacements in Fulton County on May 15, 1998. The parameters for the archaeological survey were 1,000 feet approach on each side of the two bridges, 2,000 feet total, and 100 feet on each side of the current centerline on the road, 200 feet total. A pedestrian survey designed to identify archaeological sites was also conducted at both bridge sites. No archaeological sites were identified within the two areas of possible impact, therefore no further archaeological work is recommended in these areas.
