Abstract

The proposed project consists of just over 3000 feet (0.57 miles) of streetscape and pedestrian improvements on Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta between 3rd Street and 10th Street. The project is located within the City of Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia and involves streets maintained by the City of Atlanta. The streetscape plans for Peachtree Street involve pedestrian and transportation improvements within the right-of-way as dictated by Special Public Interest Zone 16, recently adopted by the Atlanta City Council. These improvements include new sidewalks, street trees, street furniture, and enhanced street and pedestrian lighting.
