Abstract

The majority of the Johns Creek Multi-Use Greenway Trail runs along Medlock Bridge Rd. (SR 141). The project is approximately 4.7 miles long and begins at the intersection of Findley and Medlock Bridge roads. The trail proceeds in a southerly direction along the west side of Medlock Bridge Rd., turns southeast to go down Bell Rd., an unused gravel roadway, then returns to Medlock Bridge via Abbotts Bridge Road. After crossing Parsons Road, the trail turns southeast to run along the west side of Old Medlock Bridge Rd. It then returns to the west side of Medlock Bridge Rd. for another 0.5 mile crossing Saint Ives Country Club Parkway and then veering southwesterly to its intersection with State Bridge Rd. At State Bridge Rd., the trail turns southeasterly to Medlock Bridge Rd. and runs along it to its intersection with Old Alabama Rd. The trail then runs west for about 0.45 mile to its termination at Buice Rd. The proposed trail is typically 10 ft. wide with 2-ft-wide shoulders.
