A Phase I cultural resources survey was conducted by PBS&J for Gwinnett County's Department of Public Utilities Big Haynes Creek Wetlands Demonstration Project in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The total project area subjected to an intensive pedestrian survey is 6.7 acres. All archival research and field investigation was conducted by Michael Nash during the week of November 3, 2003. Archival research showed that no known sites or historic structures are recorded within or in proximity to the proposed project area. During the course of the field investigation, no cultural resource sites were located. Cultural resource clearance is recommended for the project.
