Abstract

The proposed project would improve the intersection of SR 5/Bill Arp Road with CR 192Bright Star Road. SR 5/Bill Arp Road will be symmetrically widened about the centerline to provide an approximately 200' left turn lane and also a right turn lane. CR 192/Bright Star Road would be realigned approximately 250' to the north to intersect SR 5Bi11 Arp Road at a 90-degree angle. A right turn lane will also be added to CR 192/Bright Star Road. Existing right-of-way on both roads is approximately 80'; CR 192Bright Star Road will continue to have approximately 80' of right-of-way after realignment. The total project length is approximately 0.23-mile. An archaeological survey consistent with the project description was conducted for the entire length of the project corridor.
