The proposed project would widen Parker Road/Millers Chapel Road from Flat Shoals Road to State Route 20 (SR 20). The proposed project would widen Parker Road from a two 12-foot lane facility to a four 12-foot lane divided facility with a twenty foot raised, grassed median from Flat Shoals Road to SR 138. From SR 138 to SR 20, the proposed project would widen Millers Chapel Road from a two 12-foot lane facility to a two 15-foot lane facility with a twenty foot raised, grassed median. The existing right-of-way varies from 50 to 60 feet. The proposed project right-of-way would be approximately 120 feet. There would be a multi-use path on one side of the road and a five foot sidewalk on the other side. The shoulder width would vary from 16 to 24 feet. Two roundabouts would be provided at the entrances to the future commercial developments on Millers Chapel Road. The proposed project length is approximately 1.20 miles.
