Abstract

Original project consisted of 2.6 km (1.6 mi) of new location road way extending from existing William Few Parkway at SR 104 to existing Hardy McManus Road. The southwestern portion of this has already been constructed. The original project area was archeologically surveyed in 2002 and the GaSHPO concurred with the 2003 report of the survey. In 2004 the project area required a slight shift in alignment near its midpoint. The shift was a maximum of about 30 m (100 ft) to the south and tapered back into the original alignment at both ends. The new area not covered by the 2002 survey was archeologically surveyed in 2004 and is the subject of this report.
