The proposed project would consist of the construction of sidewalks and wheelchair ramps along both sides of Covington Highway from approximately 350 feet west of Memorial Drive to Redan Road in DeKalb County, Georgia. The project would be constructed in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines. The typical section for the proposed project includes curb and gutter with a two-foot grassed separation strip and 10-foot sidewalks on both sides of the street. The total length of the proposed project is approximately 1.58 miles. The existing right-of-way varies from 75 to 150 feet and the proposed right-of-way/easement would be a minimum of 95 feet.
