Abstract

This is an archaeological report short form for negative findings for Phase I intensive archaeological survey of approximately a 0.6 mile corridor of 14th Street, between Piedmont Avenue and West Peachtree Street and approximately 0.2 mile along Crescent Avenue between 14th Street and 12th Street in the City of Atlanta, Fulton County. The project area includes approximately 2,777 linear feet (0.53 mile) along 14th Street between Piedmont Road and West Peachtree Street as well as approximately 825 linear feet (0.16 mile) along Crescent Avenue between 14th Street and 12th Street. The proposed project includes pedestrian improvements including a 5-feet wide furniture zone with concrete pavers, street lights and trees and a 10-feet wide sidewalk. The existing right-of-way varies from 40-feet to 80-feet wide.
