Abstract

This GDOT archaeological report short form for negative findings for the Phase I Archaeological Survey of the Chapel Hill Road at Douglas Road/Timber Ridge Drive Intersections Improvements, Douglas County, Georgia, conducted by Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. The proposed project would improve the intersection of Douglas Boulevard/Timber Ridge Drive at Chapel Hill Road in Douglas County. Timber Ridge Drive is a two-lane roadway that widens at Chapel Hill Road to incorporate northbound and southbound turn lanes. Douglas Boulevard is a four-lane roadway that widens to accommodate northbound and southbound turn lanes. Chapel Hill Road is a four-lane divided roadway that widens to accommodate eastbound and westbound turn lanes. The proposed project length along Douglas Boulevard/Timber Ridge is approximately 1,150 feet and 550 feet along Chapel Hill Road.
