The proposed project would consist of expanding the NaviGAtor system in DeKalb and Gwinnett Counties in order to provide traffic monitoring and surveillance and ramp meters on US 78 from the Lawrenceville Highway/US 29 interchange to the intersection with East Park Place Boulevard. Included in the proposed project would be four changeable message signs (CMS), vehicle detection system (VDS), closed circuit television cameras (CCTV), fiber optic trunk lines, and ramp meters.
